NCCAW Position Statements
The National Consultative Committee on Animal Welfare (NCCAW) position statements are the Committee's national policy statements on animal welfare issues. The statements are derived from sound scientific knowledge and expertise, are developed with extensive consultation with relevant industry bodies and experts and are discussed at NCCAW meetings. Once endorsed by NCCAW,these position statements are submitted to the State and Territory Ministers for their consideration and action as appropriate - click here
